Pilgrim Modellbahn


Coming soon is a project I have been working on for a long time, an etched brass model of an ÖBB 5047 Triebwagen.

All the major parts have been modelled in 3D CAD to ensure that they fit well together when folded, then transferred to 2D for final detailing.



This has then been used by a very professional etching company, to produce the hight quality finished etches.


Here is the first prototype in lacquered brass. Please note that the red and black wires visible are only temporary! The chassis is a shortened Tomix Shinkansen unit, and would be painted black on a finished model.


A few small problems have been found, but nothing major. I aim to have either kits or finished models available early next year.
